Strengths-based Practice Learning Event

Golden Key is holding an invaluable free learning event for those with an existing understanding of strengths-based approaches.

Join Beth Fouracre, Research Officer and Sam Wilson, Service Manager, as they share Golden's Key's work developing a toolkit on holding strengths-based meetings. This event is a must-attend for anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of strengths-based working.

The event will include:

  • Overview of strengths-based working and related approaches

  • Introduction to Golden Key

  • Presentation of Golden Key's approach to strengths-based meetings

  • Case study examples and impact of the approach

  • Group discussion and reflection

Golden Key’s Great Practice Awards are a celebration of the individuals, organisations and networks that are creating systemic change across Bristol to improve outcomes for people with multiple disadvantage. System Leadership webinar: Gender and severe and multiple disadvantage

There are gendered differences in how women experience severe and multiple disadvantage (SMD) in comparison to men. Data collected by Golden Key as part of the programme’s ongoing monitoring shows that outcomes for women facing SMD differ greatly from those of men, with women experiencing poorer outcomes after working with the programme for the same length of time.
