The Golden Key 2018 Impact Report is now available. 

The report summarises some of our key achievements during the year including:

IF (Independent Futures)

  • Work with Avon & Somerset Police has helped to address the issue of defendants’ failure to turn up in court
  • Valuable input into how people with lived experience can be involved in recruitment
  • Evaluating tenders submitted to Bristol City Council for the provision of rehabilitation services ensured the voices of people with lived experience were listened to and their views were taken into account

Housing First

  • Funding secured to house 20 clients with the most complex needs
  • Bristol’s longest-term documented rough sleeper (35 years) successfully housed

Winter Pressures on A&E Services

  • Evidence Golden Key pilot had a positive impact, with a significant reduction in hospital admissions for people with complex needs

Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE)

  • Golden Key achieved multiagency support for a Psychologically Informed City strategy for Bristol which will ensure services take greater account of how people (staff and clients) think and feel when delivering services and developing policies and procedures     

Improving Services through System Change

  • Through workshops and consultation with pathway housing providers, Golden Key developed a Trusted Assessment approach including key aims and principles and a Trusted Assessment form
